Head, Technical Service

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the Technical Services Department, ensuring efficient and high-quality light vehicle repairs. The Head of Technical Service Department will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of vehicle repair operations, including diagnosis, repair, and quality control. This role will require strong leadership, technical expertise, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement the department’s strategic plan, aligning with the overall business objectives.
   1. Set clear goals and performance metrics to drive operational excellence.
   1. Foster a positive and motivated team culture.
   1. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
   1. Oversee daily operations, including work scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
   1. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure service quality and efficiency.
   1. Manage the department’s budget and financial performance.
   1. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
   1. Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
   1. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions.
   1. Build strong relationships with vendors to foster loyalty and trust.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Diploma or degree in Mechanical engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in auto maintenance and repair.
3. Valid driver’s license.
4. Experience in fleet management
5. Certification in automotive maintenance or repair (e.g., ASE certification).
