We are seeking the services of a Head, of Supply Chain to lead our end-to-end supply chain operations. This critical leadership role will be responsible for the strategic direction, planning, and execution of all supply chain activities, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and optimal performance.
The Head of Supply Chain will drive the strategic vision and operational excellence of our supply chain. This position will oversee the entire flow of goods and services, from procurement and sourcing to inventory management, logistics, and distribution. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of optimizing supply chain performance, implementing innovative solutions, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Supply Chain team, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall objectives.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the organization’s overarching business goals.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct long-term supply chain network design and optimization.
- Manage and optimize the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and high-quality materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts and agreements.
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Implement and manage effective inventory control systems and processes to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
- Experience with SCM and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Experience with international supply chains is a plus.
