Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Admin team, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall objectives.
- Manage the functionality and upkeep of all office facilities, ensuring proper infrastructure, cleanliness, and security.
- Supervise the use, maintenance, and documentation of company assets including vehicles, generators, and other equipment.
- Ensure efficient power supply by managing generator usage, diesel procurement, and AEDC electricity monitoring.
- Oversee and reconcile AEDC electricity bills and DStv subscriptions across office locations, ensuring timely payment and usage tracking.
- Coordinate logistics, fleet management, driver schedules, and vehicle servicing.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and contract compliance.
- Monitor and control administrative budgets and perform periodic reconciliation of expenses related to utilities and subscriptions.
- Maintain an up-to-date asset register and ensure all administrative records are accurate and securely stored.
- Provide monthly reports to management on administrative activities, costs, asset status, and vendor performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Public Administration, Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in office management or administration is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in administrative roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity overseeing administrative functions.
- Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment is preferred.
