FACILITY MANAGER

The Facility Manager will be a key member of the team, responsible for overseeing the planning, setup, and operationalization of the facility. This role is critical to ensuring that from inception, the facility is positioned for efficiency, compliance, and long-term operational success. The Facility Manager is crucial for the successful delivery of the Zumex Table Water Factory project as he oversees the operationalization of the project.

Location: Arondizuogu, Imo State

Employment Type: Full-Term

Remuneration: Competitive and commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of machinery and equipment.
  2. Develop operational frameworks and SOPs in alignment with industry best practices.
  3. Lead recruitment and training of key operational and technical staff.
  4. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements including NAFDAC, SON, and environmental standards.
  5. Establish inventory control, production schedules, and safety protocols.
  6. Manage Facility operations post-commissioning, including production, maintenance, and quality control.
  7. Report on Facility performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree / HND in Engineering, Food Technology, or related discipline.
  2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Facility management, preferably in the water/beverages or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.
  3. Proven experience in setting up and running a production facility is an advantage.
  4. Strong leadership, Planning and Team management skills.
  5. Excellent knowledge of regulatory and safety standards in Nigeria’s Water Production and manufacturing sector.
